Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ROMB ("Service"), operated by ROMB ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
ROMB is a B2B SaaS platform that helps founders, businesses, and marketers identify relevant conversations and opportunities to promote themselves and their businesses on third-party platforms, including but not limited to Reddit, Medium, Facebook, and other online communities and social platforms (each, a "Third-Party Platform").
The Service includes:
- AI-powered detection of relevant posts, threads, and conversations on Third-Party Platforms
- AI-generated draft replies, comments, and content suggestions for your review
- Links directing you to the relevant post, thread, or page on the Third-Party Platform
- Analytics and tracking of opportunities surfaced through the Service
- Guidance and best-practice recommendations intended to reduce (but not eliminate) the risk of account restrictions on Third-Party Platforms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice to active subscribers.
3. No Automated Posting — Manual Action Only
This is a core principle of the Service and directly affects your rights and obligations under these Terms.
- The Service does not post, comment, publish, or otherwise take any action on your behalf on Reddit, Medium, Facebook, or any other Third-Party Platform.
- The Service does not connect to, log into, control, or otherwise access your accounts on any Third-Party Platform.
- The Service provides you with draft content (a suggested reply, comment, or post) together with a link to the relevant location on the Third-Party Platform. You, and only you, decide whether to use the draft, how to edit it, whether and when to publish it, and where to publish it.
- Every action taken on a Third-Party Platform — including but not limited to posting, commenting, replying, and engaging with other users — is performed manually and exclusively by you, using your own account and your own judgment.
- Because we do not take any automated or unattended action on your behalf, you bear full and sole responsibility for the content you choose to publish and for the manner and timing of publishing it.
4. User Responsibility and Sole Discretion
You acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for deciding what to publish, whether to publish it, and on which Third-Party Platform to publish it.
- You are solely responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated draft before using it, and for ensuring it is accurate, truthful, and compliant with the rules of the relevant Third-Party Platform.
- You are solely responsible for complying with the terms of service, community guidelines, subreddit rules, and any other rules of each Third-Party Platform you use.
- Continuing to promote yourself or your business on any Third-Party Platform — including after receiving a warning, restriction, or any other enforcement action from that platform — is entirely your own choice. ROMB does not instruct, require, or encourage you to continue publishing content in a manner that violates a Third-Party Platform's rules.
- ROMB is a tool that surfaces opportunities and drafts suggestions. It is not an agent, representative, or publisher acting on your behalf, and it does not make the decision to publish anything.
5. Third-Party Platform Disclaimer
ROMB is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Reddit, Inc., Medium, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any other Third-Party Platform.
- Each Third-Party Platform sets and enforces its own rules, and may restrict, flag, shadowban, rate-limit, or suspend accounts at its sole discretion, at any time, and without our involvement.
- These enforcement decisions are made exclusively by the Third-Party Platform and are entirely outside ROMB's knowledge, involvement, and control.
- We make reasonable efforts to provide guidance intended to help reduce the risk of such restrictions (for example, general best-practice recommendations), but we cannot and do not guarantee that your account will not be flagged, restricted, or banned on any Third-Party Platform.
- ROMB is a tool that assists you in finding and drafting promotional opportunities — it is not a guarantee of results and not a shield against a Third-Party Platform's enforcement decisions.
6. User Accounts
To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your password and restrict access to your account
- Notify us immediately at [contact email] if you suspect unauthorised access
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your ROMB account
You may not share account credentials with third parties or create accounts on behalf of others without their express consent.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will not use the Service to:
- Post spam, unsolicited advertisements, or content that violates a Third-Party Platform's terms, community rules, or applicable law
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users of any Third-Party Platform
- Post misleading, false, or deceptive content, including undisclosed commercial endorsements where disclosure is required
- Attempt to manipulate votes, karma, ratings, or other community metrics artificially
- Infringe on the intellectual property or other rights of third parties
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our prior written permission
Violation of these standards may result in suspension or termination of your ROMB account without refund. Because ROMB does not post on your behalf, this section governs your use of the Service itself (e.g., the drafting and discovery tools) rather than your independent publishing activity on Third-Party Platforms, which is addressed in Sections 3–5 above.
8. Payment and Billing
- ROMB is offered on a recurring monthly subscription basis. Current pricing is displayed on the ROMB website.
- All prices are in USD (or the currency indicated at checkout) and billed monthly.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month. Your payment method will be charged on the same date each billing cycle.
- All billing is processed by our third-party payment processor. Your payment information is subject to that processor's terms and privacy policy.
- We reserve the right to update pricing with reasonable advance notice to active subscribers.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
- Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.
9. Intellectual Property
The ROMB platform, including its software, design, logos, and content created by us, is owned by ROMB and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use ROMB's branding or trademarks.
Content you submit to the Service (business descriptions, links, target audience information) remains yours. You grant ROMB a limited licence to process this content solely to provide the Service to you.
AI-generated drafts are provided as a starting point for your own review, editing, and independent decision to publish. You are solely responsible for any content you ultimately publish on any Third-Party Platform, regardless of whether it originated as a draft from the Service.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any draft or opportunity surfaced by the Service will lead to any particular result, engagement, or business outcome.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- ROMB is not liable for any restriction, warning, shadowban, rate-limit, suspension, or ban of your account on any Third-Party Platform, however caused, including where it results from content drafted with the assistance of the Service and subsequently published by you.
- ROMB is not liable for any loss of business, revenue, opportunity, or goodwill arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, or from any action or inaction you take on a Third-Party Platform.
- Because every publishing action is performed manually by you at your sole discretion, ROMB bears no liability for the content, timing, placement, or consequences of anything you choose to publish.
- In no event shall ROMB's total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service exceed the amount you paid to ROMB in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- ROMB shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or business opportunities, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ROMB, its officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) content you publish on any Third-Party Platform; (b) your violation of any Third-Party Platform's terms or rules; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of a third party.
13. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting us to request account deletion.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
Sections 3, 4, 5, 9, 11, and 12 survive termination of these Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the competent courts, depending on your place of residence or business and the mandatory consumer-protection rules applicable in your jurisdiction.
15. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice by email or in-app notification. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
